Tom Grennan - Little Bit of Love Review

Tom Grennan has burst back on to the music scene to give us a little bit of love over lockdown with his new single and I think it is fairly safe to say that we definitely do all need some love and light right now…

That’s right! The British singer songwriter (who’s Dad is Irish!) has just dropped the 5th single from his second upcoming album ‘Evering Road’ which is set to be released on 5th March, an album that we are highly anticipating!

Tom’s latest single ‘Little Bit Of Love’ is about the mental struggle of moving on or going back in a relationship which makes for a very relatable listen.

The song itself is a very feel good tune that you will find is immediately catchy! It even has quite a Lewis Capaldi vibe to it as it really does sound like a song that Capaldi himself would write. There is a big soulful sound throughout this track which Tom has stated is the sound that he is going for with the new album and we have to say, we really dig it and this man has got the vocals for it.

Lyrically, the song is honest, emotive and captivating and is arguably one of the best songs that Grennan has ever written. It really shows off his capability to write a massive yet emotive tune. The song is oozing with passion and emotion which gives us very high hopes to the rest of the album which is looking likely to reach the same if not bigger success than his debut album ‘Lighting Matches’.

‘Little Bit Of Love’ has already set Tom Grennan off to a very promising 2021, if this song is anything to go by, there is absolutely no doubt that the new album is going to reach number 1 in the charts come release day.

It’s the perfect song to dance around and have a big bop in your kitchen during lockdown and is certainly the little bit of love that we need, it is like a virtual hug from Tom himself to us.

We can’t get enough of it, this one is definitely staying on repeat!

At the minute, Tom hasn’t announced any Irish dates but given that his dad has links to the emerald isle, we are sure this musical legend will be back as soon as it’s safe to do so!
