Róisín O - Heart + Bones Review

The fabulous Róisín O (Previously from the duo Thanks Brother with the wonderfully talented John Broe) has just bounced back on to the Irish music scene with the return of her solo career. Róisín dropped her stunning brand new single ‘Heart + Bones’  and it has left us feeling all kinds of emotions. You could say she has left us ‘In the feels’.

Róisín stated that this was her most honest song that she has written to date, as massive fans of her solo music we would have to agree with her! The depth of emotion displayed through the clever lyricism and incredible vocals produces an extremely powerful track. 

The piano chords in the intro alongside Róisín’s strong, soft and hauntingly beautiful voice immediately grips the attention of the listener but once it hits the stunning culminating chorus, you will be left amazed just after the first listen.

‘Heart + Bones’ has certainly proved that Róisín is one of, if not the best female vocalist in Ireland at the moment. She has completely outdone herself on this track both musically and lyrically. We strongly feel that she is ridiculously underrated considering that she is one of Ireland's most talented musicians. 

We highly recommend giving Heart + Bones a listen and checking out her other work. Which are available on all major streaming platforms. We are very excited to see what 2021 has in store for Róisín!
