Lisa Keane – Run Review

The fabulous indie-pop singer Lisa Keane is back on the music scene for 2021 with the release of her third single ‘Run’. 

Lisa Keane is a new upcoming Dublin based singer/songwriter and has released two previous tracks ‘Melting’ and ‘Crown of Thorns’ which was her debut single in May 2020.

She is inspired by the likes of Taylor Swift, Maggie Rogers, Haim and Dermot Kennedy. Lisa has created a wonderful blend from these various artists to assist her with creating her own and unique distinctive sound which can be heard throughout all three of her releases.

Lisa has already had support from the BBC’s Across The Line, Dublin City FM, PlayIrish, HotPress and many more and has already gathered up a loyal fanbase along the way!

Her latest single ‘Run’ was released on January 8th and is filled with soothing, stunning and haunting vocals. Lisa really knows how to set the mood of a track and captivate the listener with her strong storytelling lyrics.

‘Run’ proves that Lisa is one of the best new and emerging female singers to come out of Ireland at the minute. The song is enchanting and catchy with simple synth verses which builds up to get you swaying along to the track. Her distinctive, hauntingly stunning vocals keeps the listener engaged right throughout the track, which is absolutely flawless from start to finish. She is a breath of fresh air to the Irish music scene with her distinctive sound.

With poppy chords and themes such as love as escapism, this track makes for a very relatable listen that is also set to be a hit with its delicate and ethereal tones and of course, Lisa’s gorgeous voice taking the centre stage. It is definitely a track that makes us just want to run through the woods or added to our chill playlists!
