Aaron Everything - Ovate Review

Words by Danielle Holian

Donegal rapper Aaron Everything collaborated with CHERUBIM on his latest release 'OVATE', which is about his mindset as an Irish entertainer roped in with the things he does to entertain himself. He mentioned that the title referred back to the kind of musician or performer back in the Celtic times in Ireland making a cool link back to himself as an artist.

Upon the first listen, the hip-hop electrifying aesthetically pleasing track includes an impressive performance and production.

During the track, he reflects on what he does for people when providing entertainment; this theme of entertainers is taken to the extreme in the cover art with the Ovate who has devoted his life to entertaining his crowd.

It’s a pleasant listen with great vibes that will energise the clubs when places are open again. The distinct sounds of emo rap and low-fi blend perfectly creating an asthenosphere that is engaging.
Unlike what’s being released in current time, Aaron offers something different with his unique style of music and lyrics. And with ‘OVATE’, the track showcases his effortless artistry with his creativity front and centre of the song.

Aaron Everything is an artist on the rise with versatile songwriting capabilities of shapeshifting to suit a myriad of styles that discusses universal emotions of grief, pain, and growth through the lens of his own experiences.
